Google ‘Buzz’ the new face of social networking website

Google has launched Google Buzz, which will facilitate free email services along with other social networking features like adding photos, video, digital scraps and connecting to other social networking websites.

This is touted to be an effort to compete with other social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Twitter, another popular social networking site, allows not more than 140 characters to put across their messages to their community members, which are popularly called as ‘tweets’.

With Google Buzz capable of feeding tweets on Gmail, a user need not go to the Twitter site to post, update or view other tweets.
